How the day runs

    Meet & brief

Meet at base, get fitted for a wetsuit, helmet and PFD, and take the safety talk. No experience assumed.

  2. 02

    On the water

Your guide runs the lines, calls the paddle strokes and reads the river for you. You just commit and pull.

  3. 03

    Dry off & relive it

Warm up at take-out, then grab the photo & video pack shot from the boat and the banks all day.

Take the whole run home

Our crew shoots from the raft and the banks all day — big-rapid faces included. Add the pack when you book and download it the same evening.

Questions before you commit

Do I need to know how to swim?

No. Everyone wears a coastguard-approved buoyancy aid (PFD) that keeps you floating face-up, and your guide briefs the exact “what if I fall in” drill before you launch. Being comfortable in water helps your nerves, but swimming ability is not a requirement for our grade II–III trips. If you’re anxious about water, tell us in the booking notes and we’ll put you in the right boat.

What are the age and health limits?

Minimum age is 12 for the half-day, 14–15 for canyon and full-day trips. You should be in reasonable health and able to hold and pull a paddle. Please tell us in advance about pregnancy, heart conditions, recent surgery or reduced mobility so we can advise the right trip.

What if the weather or water level is bad?

Rafting runs in rain — it’s a wet sport. We only cancel for genuine safety reasons (extreme flow, storms, unsafe levels). If we cancel, you get a free reschedule or a full refund. Real river conditions decide, never a countdown timer.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

[PLACEHOLDER — state the real policy, e.g. “Free reschedule up to 48 h before; refunds per our terms.”] Whatever it is, we spell it out here in plain language before you pay.

What should I bring and wear?

Come in swimwear with a towel and a dry change of clothes. We provide the wetsuit, helmet, PFD and paddle. Wear footwear that straps on (no flip-flops), and leave phones and valuables in the lockers — the photo pack covers the shots.

Do you run trips for groups and companies?

Yes. Student groups, stag/hen parties and corporate team days are our speciality. Groups of 8+ get a rate and a dedicated guide team — put the headcount in the form and we’ll come back with options.
