A house that keeps time in stone

For a hundred years these walls have measured the day in shadow. We restored the courtyard, kept the arches, and did the one thing a stone house asks for — we let the light back in.

Master masons re-set every course by hand. Lime plaster, chestnut beams, cool floors underfoot. Nine rooms, one courtyard, and a terrace that catches the last sun of the day.

Is the building accessible? Is there a lift?
KALEHAN Konak is a protected 1911 stone manor, so there is no lift and some doorways are low with uneven floors. Three ground-floor rooms avoid stairs entirely. Tell us your needs when booking and we will place you honestly rather than promise more than the house can give.
How do the rooms differ from one another?
Each of the nine rooms faces the courtyard at a different angle, so each has its own best hour — from Avlu's early gold to the Terrace Suite's long evening sun. Sizes run 24–42 m². Tell us the hour you love and we will match the room.
What are your cancellation and refund terms?
Cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival for a full refund. Within 7 days, the first night is charged and the rest refunded. If we ever have to cancel on you, you are refunded in full — no small print.
Is breakfast included, and can you cater to diets?
Yes — a terrace breakfast of oven bread, local cheese, fruit and honey is included every morning, 07:30–10:30. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free tables are no trouble; just let us know in advance.
Do you have parking, and how do we arrive with a car?
The quarter is pedestrian, so cars stop at an attended lot about 90 m away and we carry your bags in. Private airport transfer (about 1 h 10 min) can be arranged when you book.
Are children or pets welcome?
Children over eight are welcome in the family rooms. Because of the stone stairs, open courtyard and quiet-house feeling, we are not set up for infants or pets — we would rather say so kindly in advance.
