MERCEK Studio — Travel & Wedding Frames · Est. field notes
An itinerant photographer for couples, hotels and editors. I don't stage the moment — I wait for it, then keep it sharp. Scroll slowly; the frames come into focus.
A contact sheet you read with your wrist. Move fast and the frames smear like a slow shutter; hold still and they lock to glass. Shutter speed = scroll speed.
Multi-day coverage of a place and the people in it — for hotels, tourism boards and magazines that need frames with a pulse, not a stock library.
One photographer, all day, wherever the two of you say yes. Documentary first, a few directed portraits when the light asks for them.
Campaign and product frames that carry a house style — art direction, shot list and delivery handled end to end.
Send the date, the type and the place. Within two working days you get availability, a plain-language quote and a sample gallery from similar work.
We agree a light-led plan — golden hours, key moments, must-have portraits. On the day I stay out of the way and read the room.
A colour-graded online gallery, print-ready files and a clear licence. Standard delivery is four weeks; a sneak set lands within 72 hours.
A photograph is a decision about when, not what.
MERCEK Studio is a one-person practice built on a simple habit: arrive early, stay late, and let the place set the pace. Ten years between airports and aisles have taught me that the frame worth keeping usually happens in the quiet minute before everyone expects it.
Based nowhere in particular · shooting everywhere · replies in EN & TR
He shot our elopement like he'd known us for years and disappeared exactly when we needed to be alone. The gallery still makes us cry.— Sample couple, Aegean coast
The travel set doubled our booking-page conversions. Every frame looks like a place you'd cancel plans to visit.— Sample boutique hotel, marketing lead
Delivered ahead of deadline, licensing crystal clear, zero hand-holding. A rare, professional shoot.— Sample magazine, photo editor
For destination work, travel and accommodation are quoted transparently up front — no surprises after booking. Within your region, travel is folded into the day rate. You always see the full number before you commit.
A hand-picked sneak set arrives within 72 hours. The full, colour-graded gallery is delivered within four weeks of the shoot; rush delivery is available on request for an added fee.
I retain copyright as the author, and you receive a clear written licence for your use — personal, print and web for couples; defined commercial usage or buy-out for brands. Nothing is published without your say-so.
Editing is part of the craft, so raw files aren't part of standard delivery. You receive high-resolution, finished files plus web-ready versions. If your workflow genuinely needs raws, we can discuss a separate archive licence.
The date is held with a deposit. Reschedules are honoured subject to availability; if you cancel, the deposit covers the reserved date and any non-recoverable travel already booked. The full terms are written into your agreement — no fine print.
I work as an itinerant photographer with no fixed studio, which means most of the world is on the table. Tell me the location in your enquiry and I'll confirm feasibility and any travel window with the quote.
Tell me when, what and where.
One form, one reply from me — not a bot, not a sales team. If the date is open, you'll have availability and a plain quote within two working days.
